Today let's talk about SUCIDE. We choose this topic because it makes us curious why people really wanted to commit sucide.

Sucide is the death caused by injuring oneself with the intent to die. A sucide attempt is when someone harms themselves with the intent to end their life, because they don't die as a result of their action. The word Sucide is derived from Latin word sue( of oneself) Cide or Cidium ( a killing). 

History 
The first person to debate the morality of Sucide was the greek philosopher, SOCRATES-over 400 years B.C.

SOCRATES believed that human beings were the property of GOD & did not have the right to take away something, namely life. He had to face criticism but afterwards his veiws were accepted. The biggest religion of the world has been strictly prohibited it.

"Sucide is not chosen; it happens when pain exceeds resources for Coping with pain"

Every year more then 800 000 people take their on life & their are many more people's who attempt Sucide. Every Sucide is a tragedy that affect families, communities & entire countries & has long  lasting effects on the people left behind. Sucide was the 2nd leading cause of death .
